Event Description The Crab is King at this one-of-a-kind event that is fun for the entire family! The day begins with judging for the Miss Curvaceous Crustacean Beauty Pageant, where hermit crabs are presented in their own unique decorated displays judged on creativity and flair. Hermit crab preliminary races lead to the Crustacean 500, where the winner is crowned and awarded the Order of the Mercury Claw trophy! Crabs race on a specially-designed circular track, where all the crabtestants are placed in the center. At the sound of the starting pistol, crabs scurry to the outer circle at the edge of the track, where it’s all about the survival of the crabbiest!
