| Virginia Beach Virginia - A Resort for all Seasons |
Virginia Beach's location in the heart of the mid-Atlantic provides great temperatures, all year long. Cool breezes off the Atlantic make those hot summer days just right. But, did you know that most guests visiting Virginia Beach choose to do so in the off season, between Labor Day Weekend and Memorial Day Weekend. The weather is perfect and there's always a great event going on - in October, visitors can enjoy the Oktober BrewFest & our Halloween festivities while November and December feature miles and miles of lights during Holiday Lights at the Beach. And, don't forget an awe-inspiring whale-watching trip from January-March! |

| Winter Whale Watching |
When most people think of Virginia Beach, they don't think of humpback whales breaching out of the water with mouths wide open. Luckily for us, each year the Humpback whales migrate to the food-rich mouth of the Chesapeake Bay for their annual winter retreat. The peak season to catch a glimpse is in the wintertime, between January and mid-March. According to the Virginia Aquarium, visitors on their whale-watching boat trips are seeing the majestic creatures in action 100% of the time. Tours are offer daily during the peak of the whale watching season. |
