Whale Watching Boat Trips
Whale Watching Boat Trips   From late December through mid March, the waters off the Virginia Beach oceanfront are home to many migratory Humphack whales.  Two hour boat trips are available daily and offer a one-of-a-kind opportunity to get up close and personal to these gigantic animals.  Boats are heated, and have both an enclosed viewing area as well as open decks.  Advance reservations are required as these tours do sell out.  Tickets and more information are available through the Virginia Beach Vacation Market

American Rover Cruises
American Rover Cruises   Set sail on the American Rover, the largest three-masted topsail schooner under U.S. flag.  This tall ship cruise provides a narrated tour of the Norfolk Harbor and the world's largest naval base.  For waterman, historians, boater and sightseers, an American Rover is a must do in Virginia Beach VA.  Cruises are offered daily, mid April through late October.  Visit the americanrover.com for more information.
