Terms and Conditions for our Virginia Beach VA vacation getaway giveaway.

An approximate 90-120 minute fun and informative presentation of our new luxury resort, the Ocean Beach Club, is required in order to take advantage of our outstanding discount packages. There is absolutely no obligation to purchase a vacation ownership plan.

In order to qualify for a discounted Golk Key vacation package, the following eligibility requirements must be met:

1. Reservation holder’s single or combined income must be at least $65,000 for arrivals May 15 – September 15 and $55,000 for arrivals September 16 – May 14. a. Guests may only combine income with a significant other who resides in the same household. If addresses do not match on IDs, Guests must provide a second form of ID showing matching address (such as a utility bill, rental lease, bank statement, checkbook, car registration or mortgage statement).
   b. Income may include disability, retirement, investment, net rental proceeds, bonuses, commissions, salary and alimony. Income DOES NOT include unemployment or child support.
   c. If disability is sole income, Guest must provide proof of disability amount such as a disability check stub or other paperwork.
   d. Wage-earners must be currently employed.
   e. Unless a Canadian citizen, income is based on US dollars.
   f. If Guest is unsure of annual income, (due to highly commissioned occupation) may use previous year’s income if employed in the same occupation with the same company.
2. Reservation holder must be at least 28 years old. If 26 or 27: must be married, a homeowner & make at least $65,000.
3. Reservation holder and significant other must speak and read English.
4. Reservation holder must be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident or Green card holder. No Visas. a. If Canadian Resident, must secure reservation with a major credit card (no debit card) and must make at least $65,000 in Canadian dollars.
5. If married, husband and wife must attend the tour. If unmarried, significant other must attend.
6. Reservation holder may not reside in the following cities: Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Suffolk and Portsmouth. Exceptions: a. Norfolk, Chesapeake, Suffolk and Portsmouth are permitted for Day Drives between October-March.
   b. Owner Referral Guests may reside anywhere.
7. Married, Single, Divorced or Widowed individuals are qualified. Separated couples ARE NOT qualified.
8. Reservation holder may not be a relative or friend of a current or past Gold Key/PHR associate. In addition, reservation holder may not be a current or past Gold Key/PHR associate.
9. Reservation holder may not know any other Guest (outside of their immediate travel party) taking advantage of one of our promotions at the same time. a. GROUPS ARE NOT PERMITTED. A group is more than one household or family.
   b. Exception: Two families traveling on a golf promotion or Redskins promotion may travel together. Additional exceptions may be permitted as identified by GKR President.
   c. If on a golf promotion, Guests should be booked as 1 tour (marketing will adjust Guest Pay/premiums). If on a Redskins promotion, Guests should be booked on 2 tours. Any additional exceptions will need to be determined at time of roll-out and communicated to appropriate managers.
10. Reservation holder may not be in the process or have recently filed for any form of bankruptcy protection and are not currently debtors in any Bankruptcy action.
11. No adults in party may be a current or past Gold Key Owner.
12. Reservation holder must have a valid credit card with a charge capacity of at least $50 (for incidentals) or holds a debit card with a major credit card logo.
13. Reservation holder must hold a state or government-issued photo ID.
14. Reservation holder or significant other must not have toured a Gold Key resort in the last 12 months (14 months starting March 1st).
15. Reservation holder must agree that package is non-refundable, non-transferable and only valid for their arrival date.
16. No pets are permitted.
17. Guest may not be staying in campground.

Any misinformation provided in the qualification questionnaire will result in the cancellation of the Guest’s reservation and all monies forfeited. Upon arrival, if information proves to be inaccurate, Guest will be charged the full rate of their stay.
 

• Refund Policy - If qualified, Guests may be allowed to reschedule one time, subject to a minimum of 14 days notice. All Guests who reschedule will be subject to a $50 refundable deposit. This deposit will be returned to the Guest in the form of a check at the end of the 90-minute presentation. Rates may vary due to seasonality; when rescheduling, please confirm your rate. Guests who choose to cancel, do not show, or do not qualify will incur an additional $59 charge. Misinformation provided in the eligibility questionnaire will result in forfeiture of any payment made towards the vacation.
• Please allow one business day for processing, the full amount will be charged to your credit card and will appear as "Gold Key Resorts."
• Product/Package Delivery - A Vacation Package Confirmation letter will be delivered via mail, fax or email.
• Securing the Transmission and Storage of Information -
  We treat the information you provide to us as confidential information; it is, accordingly, subject to our company's security procedures and policies regarding protection and use of confidential information. When we ask you for credit card data, it is transferred over a Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) line, provided you are using a SSL enabled browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. We also use SSL on other select pages where you would enter personally identifiable information. This ensures that your information is encrypted as it travels over the Internet. This secure mode is enabled before any such information is transmitted from your computer. You will know you are in secure mode when the padlock or key icon in the lower right-hand or left-hand corner of the computer screen appears in the locked position. In addition, when accessing a secure server, the first characters of the site address will change from "http" to "https."
  After information reaches Gold Key /PHR, it is stored on a secure server that resides behind firewalls designed to block unauthorized access from outside of Gold Key / PHR. Because laws applicable to personal information vary by country, our vacation resorts or other business operations may put in place additional measures that vary depending on the applicable legal requirements. Information collected on this site and covered by this privacy statement is generally processed and stored in the United States.
