Why September - Top 5 Reasons It's the Best Month at the Beach

Why September, after reading the next series of postes, you'll be asking why not September! Each day this week, we're posting the top five reasons to visit Virginia Beach this September. Today's reason is...the weather:
5. The Weather: Did you know that the weather for September in Virginia Beach is even nicer than it is in June - August? That's right, the average high temperature for the month of September is a beautiful 81 degrees - plenty warm enough to hit the beach, yet cooler and more comfortable than the high heat and humidity of July and August. Did you also know that the water temperature in September is still nice and warm? In fact, with an average September water temperature of 72 degrees, the Atlantic Ocean in September is only one degree cooler than it is in the middle of July.
