Details Announced for Holiday Lights at the Beach

The McDonald's Holiday Lights at the Beach is just a few short weeks away, November 21 - January 1. This popular holiday activity draws thousands of vehicles each year to watch a dazzling light display along the Virginia Beach oceanfront boardwalk. Starting at 2nd Street and running all the way to 33rd Street, this year's event features over 250 animated nautical and holiday-themed light displays along with a three story Christmas tree. Accompanying Holiday Lights at the Beach is the Virginia Beach Christmas Parade on December 6th. Antique cars, large tethered balloons, lighted floats and a visit from Santa make this a Holiday event not to miss. My kids absolutely love the holiday lights. It’s become a family tradition to visit the Lights on the beach and then drive over to see the Garden of Lights at Norfolk Botanical each year since my youngest was born. It’s so fun to watch the kids ooh and aww over the beautiful light displays and it’s something the whole family can enjoy. If you have never done it before I would highly recommend.
