The Perfect Way to Beat the Heat!

I'll be the first to admitt that it's hot...temperatures all weekend were in the 90's and forecast calls for much of the same today, tomorrow and Wednesday. But, let me say, the Beach is a great way to beat the heat. Atlantic Ocean water temps are still in the 70's so while soaking in the sun, you'll enjoy a nice breeze off the water. Plus, 70 degree plus water feels mighty good on a hot day. So, if you're looking for a way to beat the heat, hop in your car and get to Virginia Beach.

Now, as for this upcoming weekend, the weather forecast is calling for more seasonable weather with sunny skies and temps in the 80's...an absolutely perfect Father's Day weekend. Not only is it Father's Day weekend, the Virginia Beach Boardwalk plays host this weekend to the Art Show. Hundreds of local and regional artists will be displaying their work all along the oceanfront. It's a great time!
