Existing Reservations
If you have already made your reservations to enjoy a Gold Key Vacation in Virginia Beach,
we have put together a quick reference guide on some important information you will need
to know for your vacation. Please read through the information below and should you still
have questions, please feel free to contact our Confirmations Department by email at

I Did Not Receive a Confirmation Letter
If you did not receive a confirmation letter or need an additional copy, please

here. You will need your phone number and the confirmation number given to you at time of
booking.
Where Do I Check In
All guests must check in at the Ocean Beach Club Discovery Center, which is located on the
corner of 34th Street and Atlantic Avenue, at 3316 Atlantic Avenue. Parking for the
Discovery Center is available in the Parking Garage at 34th and Pacific Avenue. The
garage entrance is between 33rd and 34th Streets and is marked with a sign reading
"Discovery Center Guests Only". The Discovery Center is open Sunday - Thursday 9am – 5pm, Friday 9am - 10pm and Saturday 9am – 9pm.
If you are unable to check in to the Discovery Center
during our posted hours, please call 800-556-6554 as soon as possible so that special
arrangements can be made.
What Do I Need to Check In
Upon Check In at the Discovery Center, you will need a government issued picture ID and
the same credit card that you used to secure the reservation. It is also helpful to bring
your confirmation letter with you upon arrival. If you not married and combining income
with a significant other, you will need to bring proof that you and your significant other
share the same residency.
How Early Can I Check In to My Hotel
You may check in to the Discovery Center anytime after 11am on your scheduled day
of arrival. However, check in time for the hotels is not until 4pm (5pm for Ocean Beach
Club).
I Need to Cancel My Reservation
Our vacation packages are non-refundable. However, we do have a reschedule policy. If
you find that you are unable to arrive on your original dates, please contact our
Hospitality Department at least 14 days prior to your arrival date to reschedule your
vacation. A minimum of a $50 refundable deposit will be required to reschedule. You may
reschedule to arrive within 30 days of your original arrival date. If rescheduling within
14 days, you will have to pay the new package price for any new dates in addition to the
$50 refundable deposit. Rates vary due to season so please confirm your new rate when
rescheduling. When calling, please have your confirmation number ready so that our
Hospitality Associate can better assist you.
Can I Bring My Pet
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on any Gold Key Vacation package.
When Will My Timeshare Tour Take Place
The tours are schedule on a first come first serve basis, and are assigned upon check in.
For 2-night stays, you will tour on the first full day meaning that if you arrive on a
Thursday, your tour will take place on Friday. For longer stays, you may tour on any day
except your day of arrival or day of departure.
How Long Is the Tour and Can I Bring My Children
The tour will take at least 90 minutes, but may be longer depending on your level of
interest. You are more than welcome to bring your children on tour, but we do offer a
wonderful Child Care room adjacent to where you will be touring. Child Care is for
children 2 years to 12 years old and includes video games, cartoon movies, toys and more.
I Called the Hotel and They Have No Record of My Reservation
The hotels have a block of rooms set aside for Gold Key Vacation reservations. All our
rooms are listed as Gold Key, and not under your individual name. Upon Check In at the
Discovery Center, you will be issued a hotel confirmation which you will take to the hotel
to complete the Check In process.
