Are Your Rates Per Night / Per Guest?

After you have selected your dates, the price displayed is the total package price for all the nights that you selected for the respective Virginia Beach hotel or resort.  This price also includes your hotel taxes along with any additional incentives (meal vouchers, attraction tickets, etc.) included with your package.  All prices stated are for the maximum occupancy of the room and are guaranteed to be the lowest rate in Virginia Beach.

Is this Timesharing and Do I Have to Attend a Presentation?

Yes, it is. What is Timesharing / Vacation Ownership?

Timesharing, also called Vacation Ownership, is a great vacation options for individuals all around the world.  Instead of paying for your vacation year over year, at prices that reflect inflationary increases, with timesharing, you essentially lock in the value of a lifetime of vacations at today's prices.  In other words, you make a one time purchase of a set length of time (usually one week intervals) at a resort accommodation.  This purchased accommodation is called your home resort and you have the option of visiting your home resort year after year, or trading in / exchanging the value of your interval for accommodations at other timeshare resorts all around the world.  Simply put, timesharing opens up to you a lifetime of vacations at thousands of great resorts.  Click here to learn more about Virginia Beach timeshares.

When Does the Timeshare Presentation Take Place?

In most cases, the timeshare presentation is conducted on the first full day of your vacation - meaning that if you arrive on a Thursday, your tour will normally take place on that Friday.  However, if your Virginia Beach vacation is several days in length, your tour time may be scheduled for a later day during your stay.  Exact tour times are assigned and confirmed at the Hospitality Center during check-in.

Can Children Attend the Timeshare Presentation?

Yes, children may attend the timeshare presentation with you or you may enroll them in the care of a qualified childcare associate.  The child care center is located at the Ocean Beach Club Discovery Center, adjacent to the presentation room and includes a TV with cartoons, board games, toys etc.  Please note:  Childcare is only available for ages 2-12 years of age.

Why are there Qualifications for the Vacation Packages?

Because our Virginia Beach vacation packages are offered at such a substantial savings and that they include a timeshare presentation, there are limited quantities and not everyone is eligible to take advantage of them.  As a result, we do ask that our guests meet certain qualifications to ensure that vacation ownership is a viable option.  A full list of qualifications are available through our terms & conditions.

Can You Tell Me More About Gold Key Vacations?

What are Check-In and Check-Out Times for Your Hotels?

You may check in for your vacation package at the Ocean Beach Club Discovery Center after 11am on your scheduled arrival date.  However, actual check in times for most hotels is 4pm (5pm for Ocean Beach Club).  Check-out time for most hotels is 10am.

Do You Allow Pets?

Sorry, we do not contract with hotels that allow pets.

What is Your Reschedule / Cancellation Policy?

Guests will be allowed to reschedule their Virginia Beach vacation package one time, subject to a minimum of 14 days notice.  All Guests who reschedule will be subject to a $50 fully refundable deposit.  The deposit will be returned in the form of a check at the conclusion of the timeshare presentation.  Guests who choose to cancel, do not show, or do not qualify will incur an additional $59 charge.
